Phuket Trip on my B'Day

I was away for my Phuket Trip on the 18th Sept !

My Flight was at 8.30am and check in at 6.30am.
I slept at 3am the night before to celebrate my birthday with my sister and family.
It Really feel TAX-ing to know that i only had 2 hours to sleep.
Well , when i opened my eyes, it was 6.20am !!!!
I felt damn fucked and worried ! I just simply grab my luggage and go !!!
I left home in my sleeping attire without brushing my teeth nor washing up!
Yuks
Imagine wearing that attire up on the plane????

Anyone who owns a car can be used as a Taxi to fetch Visitors around.

I was amazed to spot this drink at a petrol kiosk.
I am a person who loves Vinegar Drink !
I tried it , it was GREAT !

It cost $1.60 per packet.

Why is vinegar drink so good ?
It is beacuse good vinegar helps to digest food more effectively in yr stomach. Regulates your bowel system which aids Constipation! Drink after meals is recommended. It Promotes SLIMMING 2 ~ haha

U can DIY the vinegar health drink :)

Ingredients :
Apple Cider Vinegar with the "Mother" , Honey , H2O !
Mix 4 tea spoonful of Apple Cider Vinegar into Honey water with Ice.Simple as that. Try it everyday after yr meals. You will see the positive effect immediately.

WARNING : Do not be GREEDY & mix too much vinegar into Honey water. Too acidic will harm yr stomach too......

I was out with my dad for breakfast and heard over the 95.8fm radio news that Michael Jackson had passed away! I was figuring out who the chinese reporter was refering to cause I choose not to believe it was Michael.

My dad broke the silence.

He said , " wa , Michael Jackson Si Liao ! "

Dying at the age of 50 !
Guess God took him away from the misery of having to visit the court house . Or maybe God is relieving him from his children-molestation cases.

Whatever it is, i still feel that he deserves to live longer....
50 is really too short.... !

I guess the upcoming news after his death will be :

Crabs

Migration of Prince
Took this boat to the middle of the " sea " for an outing.
Release of Crabs.
It's not about being "HOLY" like what Kenneth Temple commented.
To me : Its an activity jio-ed by Uncle Jackso.
I followed the Buddhism Gang on that day.
We released 1050 crabs.

Its not easy at all to release crabs.
I have to use the a pair of Tongs to grab the crab and cut the string off its body at the same time. The crabs are very defensive. Once one string is cut off from his claw , it will start wanting to bite.
( DANGEROUS ) .

The Crabs come in different sizes. Small ones are damn hyper. Medium ones are manageable. Huge ones are damn heavy ( Toughest of all )

What is my feel after the release ?
well , Satisfaction is definite !
Tiredness is obvious !
Joy ? a lil ...
Sea Motion Sickness :
I am the only one on the boat to experience this !
Oh my.... its terrible feeling.
gotta perform releasing with Motion Sickness.
Guess its my payback time.

Sushi Tei @ Paragon shifted to the new building and has a new face lift :)
The place is very well decorated.

Posh-er but Food becames Lousy-er !

The restaurant can accomodate more diners.
It seems to be a good sign of preventing diners to queue for a long time like before.
However , the quality of the food does seem to be worsen.
Perhaps they are lack of chefs as waiting time increases too !

This is the annual event hosted by our temple.
Crossing of the Bridge.
The Priest is chanting to the " Red Paper " .
The " Red Paper" Figurine represents the " Crossing Bridge Officer "
He is the one in charge of the crossing bridge ceremony! ( Spiritually )

Kenneth Temple performed the ceremony with the priest.
His job is to follow where the Priest goes.

2pm Ceremony

Si Nian and I were responsible for this event below !
I cannot recall the name of this ceremony~ Shall check it out yeah ~
Its a ceremony about Good Luck if i can remember :)
Si Nian has to slowly burn the yellow joss between the 2 large joss sticks , into the basin.
I gotta rotate the flat round basket in a clockwise manner when the Priest throws the chopsticks and coins and joss papers onto the basket. Lastly , i gotta pour the items into the basket !

I was too engrossed in my activity , didnt really see what they are doing ! This is the most power part ! The flame is so damn HOT !

Kenneth and I went into the altar to take off the pendant wore on some deities for Auctioning during the dinner. There are a total of 8 Pendants for auctioning !
And I managed to auction 1 pendant !!! Yeah :)

Yes ! I auctioned 孔子公's pendant. Perhaps its an affinity which had me to bid sucessfully for it during the dinner ! I auctioned the pendant for $628 :)
I went to get a Gold Necklace to go along with the pendant . The necklace cost me $498.

Stepping into a new working life had me realised toughness in reality.
I have never understood friends around me telling me about the real world.
I understand it now.

The world is harsh.
No work = No $ ,
No $ = No Talk
No talk = No Control over things

One has to strong to step into this harsh world.
If not , depression occurs.

I should be blessed that I have a job , a stable income and freedom of speech in this recession period. I should treasure my current working life where retrenchment is being practiced now.

Learn to be more contentful Luke.
Dun be greedy and over ambitious.
Be modest and learn more.
Differentiate work & play well yeah :)

Minor Operation

Seriously , my finger has worsen ! I finally went to the Doctor yesterday. He told me that my finger has to undergo a minor operation to force out the "Pus" inside my finger . Its gonna be PAINFUL !

I pleaded for medication first. Thus , i was given $52 worth of medicine.
However, no use ! no use! no use !!!!
Its still very swollen :(
Guess i would have to go for the minor operation soon if the swell doesnt subside by tml !

Luke is currently on a diet.
Trying to be a lil more tone up.
Age is catching up on me and my metabolism is dropping without me realising.
Terrible. I have put on some kg along the years.
It's time for me to shed it off or possible, donate to skinny people!
( any takers ? )

I have been sick since Feb9th which I decided to take this opportunity to go on a diet.
It's Feb 12th. I have gone through 4 days of diet. Indeed , i seen some results.
( yeah.... Cheers ! )
However, how long can I sustain it ?
Maintenance is the most difficult part in slimming.
I gotta to persevere.

What have I done in my dieting regime?
Nothing much.
Just by eating less carbo.
( From 1 bowl of rice to half a bowl.
More vegetables. More Fruits.
More meat = more protein ).
Cutting down on the intake of Soft Drinks.
Drink more water.
Do some Cardio exercise

NOTE :
Readers can try this mini regime.
A slight change in your diet can prove a significant result.

Remember : Never skip meals. Its unhealthy !

We started a mini marjong session first before the Lo Hei cum Dinner.
I didnt win , lost $14 bucks to KyleR.... but it was okie :)
Lo Hei starts at 6.45pm.
Xiao Hui ordered Sakae's Lo Hei ( Large ) for us.

正月初九 - 天公Birthday

After Reunion Dinner , some of the Kampong Gang came to the temple which i am a committee in, to pray 天公. In addition , I also guided Atanlicious to pray Tai Sui , Suannie to pray Tiger God and Kenneth Lewis to pray Heavenly Dog. Bless them with a great year ahead!

After that, we offer prayers to 天公 along with Chairman William and my committee colleague Susan . After the prayers, we helped to dismantle the set up and the pictures below shows the work done.
Above : Guess who does the least work ? Not tough to guess rite?
Below : Who does the most work ? Do u realise a gal went missing while we were working? Pp working and she is taking pictures ! Happy Chinese New Year from some of the Kampong Gang !

After clearing , we had a 3 rounds of cheering time for the temple.

It was our virgin try ( whoo.. like a virgin.... )

We cheered : 天德宫 Huat Ah ! together with William & Susan :)

It was really fun... and improved our Bonding !

Kampong Gang will have an annual reunion dinner on the 正月初八 and come to 天德宫 at night to pray to 天公 annually !

Praparing for the Bai Dao session is tedious. But , thanks to the great teamwork , we manage to complete the session be4 the expected time. Thanks to the volunteers and KyleR and SuannieYati.This is Kyler. He is incharge to fill 233 buckets of rice ! Its tiring for him definitely. Thanks dude ! This is my Bai Dao set. I got myself the limited edition Big Bai Dao which cost $288 . Normal Bai Dao set cost $38. Hope I am being Blessed well....
The Yellow Tailsman is folded and Glued by SuannieYati for several hours previously. It is not easy. Strict Measurment of the Tailsman is important.
Thank you Suannie..... Grand Finale , Outlook of the Pai Dao ! Cool ?

After everything , I went back to bathe at 6 plus and met my frens for a sweet dinner session at OG Bird Nest Restaurant. The food has worsen as the strict manager is not there. POOR !

Happy Birthday to Uncle Jackso !
Happy CNY Day 2 to my readers!
Luke went temple again for morning shift duty till 3pm. Met up with Uncle Jackso and frens to celebrate his Birthday. We had KFC and went to watch the movie " Love Matters " .

Wa ! Booking movie tickets online is expensive. $10 bucks per ticket exclude the $1 surcharge! If i were to buy it on the spot, it only cost $8 after credit card promo ! hy, no choice .... in order to get good seats for the show, Online booking is inevitable.
This is a lame show. A lil funny but crude. Some jokes are unnecessary. The main actress's Malaysian accent sucks big time. Annoying accent. Over - exaggerated the accent of Malaysian. Please slap her !
" Hui Ge " is funny by nature. Love his expression :) The Auntie is the funniest ! Great performance. Overall plot is ok.
Therefore Luke rates it a B-
( means - watch DVD will do )
